ISLAMABAD, Sep 30 (APP): Speaker of National Assembly Sardar Ayaz Sadiq has expressed deep grief and sorrow over the death of senior journalist and Editor-in-Chief of daily Mudabbir, Syed Riaz Hussain Nizami.
In his condolence message, the Speaker paid tribute to the services rendered by the late journalist in the field of journalism, saying that during his long journalistic career, Riaz Nizami played an important role in promoting professional and positive journalistic values.
He said that his death had created a void that would be difficult to fill, adding that his services to the field of journalism would be remembered for a long time.
Ayaz Sadiq said the demise of Riaz Nizami was an irreparable loss for his family.
He expressed heartfelt condolences and sympathy to the bereaved family, saying that he shared their grief in this difficult hour.
The Speaker prayed to Almighty Allah to grant the departed soul a high place in Jannat-ul-Firdous and give patience and strength to the bereaved family to bear the irreparable loss.
