ISLAMABAD, June 6 (APP): The National Assembly on Monday while expressing profound grief and sorrow over the sad demise of ‘immortal legend’ Mohammad Ali paid tribute to him in an unanimous adopted resolution.
Minister for Inter-Provincial Coordination and In-charge Minister for Sports Riaz Hussain Pirzada moved the resolution.
He said three-time heavy weight boxing champion late Mohammad Ali
was a legend and a civil right activist.
He said Mohammad Ali fought the Parkinson disease with great
courage and patience for a long time and added that all he did
for the sports would never be forgotten.
He said people like Mohammad Ali were in the hearts of all
human beings and he would always be remembered.
