ISLAMABAD, Oct 14 (APP): The National Assembly on Wednesday passed a resolution approving the proclamation of emergency in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa after detailed debate.
Federal Minister for Parliamentary Affairs Dr Tariq Fazal Chaudhry moved the resolution in the house in this regard.
President Asif Ali Zardari proclaimed the emergency in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on October 11, 2026, under the second proviso to Article 232(1) of the Constitution.
