ISLAMABAD, Jul 24 (APP):The Sub-Commitee of Standing Committee on Housing and Works on Thursday raised concern over Federal Government Employees Housing Authority related matters and assured full cooperation in addressing these issues.
The Director Land briefed the Sub-Committee on pending payments for land acquisition, compensation for built-up properties, reasons for delays in FGEHA housing projects, and other related issues.
The pending housing projects which were briefly discussed during the meeting included Barakahu, Green Enclave-1, F-14/F-15, F-12, G-12, G-14, and G-15-3.
The Committee directed FGEHA officials to set clear parameters, hold dialogue with stakeholders, and settle legal matters out of court and provide relief to the allottees and registered members.
The first meeting of the Sub-Committee was chaired by Anjum Aqeel Khan, Member National Assembly (MNA) and attended by Seema Mohi-ud-Din Jamili, Mehboob Shah and Ibrar Ahmad.
Senior officials of FGEHA were also in present in the meeting.
