Murad takes up KCR project to resolve its land issues

KARACHI, July 29 (APP): Syed Murad Ali Shah, the nominee of Pakistan People’s Party (PPP), was elected as the new Leader  of the House in Sindh Assembly on Friday.

There were two candidates in the run – Syed Murad Ali Shah,
and Khurrum Sher Zaman of the Pakistan Tehrik-i-Insaf (PTI).

Speaker of Sindh Assembly, Agha Siraj Durrani, presided
over the session that was convened on Friday for the election  of the new Leader of the House.

He will succeed Syed Qaim Ali Shah, who had held the
office of the Chief Minister of Sindh for almost eight years
before submitting resignation to Governor Sindh on Thursday.

After polling, the Speaker announced the result and
declared Syed Murad Ali Shah, elected as the Leader of the
House in the Provincial Assembly of Sindh.

According to result, a total of 91 votes were cast and
the winner, Syed Murad Ali Shah, secured 88 votes while Khurrum  Sher Zaman got three votes.
