ISLAMABAD, Aug 5 (APP): Federal Minister for Kashmir Affairs, Gilgit-Baltistan and SAFRON, Engineer Amir Muqam, here on Wednesday congratulated Pakistani taekwondo athlete Ehsan Mehsud on winning the gold medal at the Heroes International Taekwondo Championship held in Thailand.
In a congratulatory message issued here, the federal minister praised Ehsan Mehsud’s outstanding performance, saying the young athlete brought pride to Pakistan by defeating competitors from several countries, including India, and raising the country’s profile on the international stage.
Amir Muqam said the Waziristan-born athlete demonstrated exceptional talent, determination and hard work to secure the gold medal, describing his achievement as a source of pride and honour for the entire nation.
The minister expressed confidence that Ehsan Mehsud would continue to achieve success in future international competitions and further elevate Pakistan’s flag through his sporting accomplishments.
