ISLAMABAD, Nov 6 (APP): Parliamentary Leader of Muttahidda
Quami Movement (MQM) Dr Farooq Sattar Friday said the MQM would
support Pakistan Muslim League-N’s candidate in the election for the
slot of Speaker National Assembly.
Talking to mediaprsons outside the Parliament House, He said
that MQM would not nominate its candidate for the election of
Speaker.
Farooq Sattar hoped that `Grievance Rederessal Committee’
would help addressing MQM’s complaints which were genuine and also
provide relief to the families of missing persons.
To a question, he said that MQM legislator had tendered their
resignations on genuine reasons but they would continue to play their
due role in the Parliament.
Farooq Sattar urged all the political parties to understand
the problems and also respect the mandate of each other to strengthen democracy.
