ISLAMABAD Apr 20 (APP): Ministry of Science and Technology (MoST) does not provide soft loan for Research and Development schemes.
In a written reply to a question raised by Senator Azam Khan Swati in
the Senate Session, the Minister for Science and Technology Rana Tanveer Hussain said that Higher Education Commission (HEC), Pakistan Science Foundation (PSF) and some other institutions provides research grants to the Research and Development schemes.
He said that PSF under the aegis of ministry of Science and Technology
provided research grants out of its non-development budget to the researchers.
