ISLAMABAD, Oct 27 (APP): Chairman, National Accountability Bureau (NAB), Qamar Zaman Chaudhry on Thursday said Monitoring & Evaluation System (MES) is a web-based application which has been developed to enhance operational and evaluation capabilities of bureau.
He was chairing a meeting held to review latest progress on MES here.
During the meeting, Advisor to Chairman on M&E gave a detailed presentation on its working in NAB and its efficacy in future.
The Chairman said purpose of MES is to track implementation and outputs systematically, and measure the effectiveness of performance which help in enhancing operational, monitoring and evaluation capabilities.
He said MES forms basis for modification of interventions and assessing quality of activities being conducted.
Qamar Zaman Chaudhry reiterated that NAB was committed to eradicating corruption with absolute professionalism, transparently and on merit.
He directed all Regional Bureaus of NAB to implement MES in light of outcome of pilot project completed in NAB Rawalpindi.
