ISLAMABAD, Oct 30 (APP): Federal Minister for Interior Mohsin Naqvi held a meeting with Oman’s Royal Minister, General Sultan bin Mohammed Al Nu’amani, in Muscat on Thursday to discuss ways to further strengthen bilateral cooperation between Pakistan and Oman.
The two leaders reviewed the state of Pakistan-Oman relations, with a particular focus on addressing visa-related challenges faced by Pakistani nationals living and working in the Sultanate. They also exchanged views on the regional situation and emphasized the need to enhance mutual engagement and collaboration.
Minister Naqvi highlighted the deep-rooted religious, cultural, and historical ties between the two countries, noting that millions of Pakistani workers are contributing to Oman’s development. He stressed that facilitating visa procedures would open more opportunities for skilled Pakistani professionals seeking employment in Oman.
“Pakistan is committed to expanding its partnership with Oman at all levels,” Naqvi affirmed, expressing optimism about future cooperation in diverse sectors.
General Sultan bin Mohammed Al Nu’amani reaffirmed Oman’s longstanding and brotherly relationship with Pakistan, underscoring the importance of continued collaboration and mutual understanding between the two nations.
