ISLAMABAD, Jan 10 (APP):Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi on Saturday praised the security forces for conducting two successful operations against militant elements described as “Khawarij” in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, resulting in the killing of 11 militants.
In a statement, Naqvi commended the professionalism and swift action of the forces, saying they had “foiled the nefarious designs of the Khawarij” and safeguarded peace in the region. He said the timely and effective operations demonstrate the unwavering resolve of the forces to eliminate militant threats.
“We salute the security forces for their successful operations aimed at eradicating the Khawarij. They remain determined to root out this menace from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa,” the minister said.
Naqvi reiterated that militant elements would find no place to hide in the province, adding that the complete elimination of such extremists would be possible with the continued support of the nation.
He reaffirmed the government’s commitment to strengthening counterterrorism efforts and ensuring lasting peace across the country.
