ISLAMABAD, Oct 2 (APP):Minister for Human Rights Dr Shireen Mazari Wednesday said that her ministry was utilizing its all available resources to ensure the implementation on corporal punishment law in all educational institutions across the country for curb the menace of child abuse.
The government was committed to protecting the child rights under the sincere leadership of Prime Minster Imran Khan, she said this while addressing to students of Alfrabi School and Collages here on Wednesday.
Mazari regretted that people were reluctant to speak about it and treat it as a social taboo despite the fact that it had rampage the society, she added.
She urged the parents to educate their children in this regard and adopt gender equality among girls and boys to avoid their behavioral change.
