MoFA officials hold walk to express solidarity with IIOJK people, condemn Indian unilateral actions
ISLAMABAD, Aug 5 (APP): A walk was held here on Constitution Avenue on Wednesday to express solidarity with the resilient people of Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK) and to reiterate Pakistan’s unequivocal condemnation of the series of illegal and unilateral actions taken by India on August 5, 2019.
The walk was led by Foreign Secretary Amna Baloch and saw active participation from diplomats, officers, and officials of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) on the seventh anniversary of Youm-e-Istehsal.
The participants marched from the foreign ministry’s premises to D-Chowk, where the main ceremony took place.

One-minute silence was observed to pay tribute to the sacrifices of Kashmiri martyrs enduring life under foreign military occupation.
Pakistan observes Youm-e-Istehsal annually on August 5 to mark the anniversary of India’s decision in 2019 to revoke Articles 370 and 35A of its Constitution, stripping IIOJK of its special autonomous status.
The move aimed to alter the demographic structure and political landscape of the internationally recognized disputed territory. Pakistan and the international community view these actions as a direct violation of UNSC resolutions and international law, including the Fourth Geneva Convention.
