Minister visits Ramazan bazars
ATTOCK, May 10 (APP):Federal Minister for Climate Change Malik Ameen Aslam along with Deputy Commissioner Attock Ishratullah Khan Niazi, DPO Syed Shehzad Nadeem Bukhari and other officials here on Friday visited Ramazan bazars in Attock and tehsil Huzru.
The minister checked the prices and quality of edible items.
Talking to media on the occasion, the minister said that the government was granting subsidy of billions of rupees for common people during Ramazan-ul-Mubarak.
He directed the local administration to check quality and prices of these items on daily basis and take action on any irregularity in that regard.
He listened to the people and traders regarding their issues and directed the Deputy Commissioner for instant resolution of their problems.
The DC, on the occasion, said that all traders have been made strictly bound to abide by the government rates and any kind of neglegence and irresponsibilty in that regard will not be tolerated.
The minister expressed dissatisfaction over availability of sub-standard fruits in bazars and directed the DC to take action against sellers of such items.
