Minister reviews Prime Minister’s petrol relief scheme at ICT fuel stations
ISLAMABAD, Sep 22 (APP):Minister of State for Interior Talal Chaudhry on Tuesday visited various petrol pumps in Islamabad to review the implementation of the Prime Minister’s relief scheme and assess the facilities being provided to citizens.
He said the scheme is available at 147 petrol pumps across the federal capital and has benefited 150,000 motorcycle riders and small vehicle owners within one week.
During his visits to different fuel stations, Talal Chaudhry examined the arrangements made under the Prime Minister’s relief scheme and reviewed the services being provided to eligible citizens.
The minister said that the facility under the Prime Minister’s relief scheme is currently available at 147 petrol pumps in Islamabad. He noted that the initiative has already benefited 150,000 motorcycle riders and owners of small vehicles in the federal capital during the first week of its implementation.
Talal Chaudhry said that facilitation centers have been established at all relevant petrol pumps to assist citizens and ensure smooth access to the scheme. He reviewed the functioning of these centers and the measures taken to facilitate the public.
He said that under the Prime Minister’s relief scheme, every possible effort is being made to provide eligible citizens with convenient access to petrol and related services. The minister emphasized the importance of ensuring that people receive the benefits of the scheme without difficulty.
During the visit, officials briefed the minister on the implementation process and the facilities available at petrol pumps participating in the scheme.
Deputy Commissioner Islamabad, the Assistant Commissioner and other relevant officials were also present on the occasion and accompanied the minister during the review of arrangements at the fuel stations.
