ISLAMABAD, Apr 8 (APP):Federal Minister for Science and Technology, Khalid Hussain Magsi Wednesday lauded the leadership of Prime Minister, Shehbaz Sharif and Field Marshal Asim Munir for playing a pivotal role in facilitating a ceasefire between Iran and the United States and helping avert a potential regional crisis.
In a statement, the minister said that under the “wise and visionary leadership” of the Prime Minister, Pakistan played a commendable role in easing tensions between Iran and the United States, helping avert a potential regional crisis.
He noted that timely and proactive measures taken by Pakistan contributed to maintaining stability in the region. The minister also highlighted the pivotal role of Field Marshal, stating that his effective strategy proved crucial in promoting peace and ensuring coordination between defense and diplomatic efforts.
The minister further appreciated the active diplomacy of Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar, saying his engagement played a key role in facilitating a ceasefire and reducing hostilities.
He emphasized that Pakistan, as a responsible state, has strengthened its global standing through constructive diplomatic initiatives. He described efforts made in Islamabad as a milestone toward achieving lasting peace in the region.
