ISLAMABAD, Dec 9 (APP): Federal Minister for Kashmir Affairs, Gilgit-Baltistan and SAFRON Engineer Amir Muqam and Prime Minister of Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) Faisal Mumtaz Rathore held a high-level meeting at Jammu and Kashmir House on Tuesday to discuss the matters related to Kashmir cause and others.
During the meeting, the federal minister congratulated the AJK Prime Minister on assuming the office.
Both leaders discussed in detail the matters of mutual interest, the latest situation of the Kashmir issue and the ongoing and proposed development projects in AJK.
They agreed that the Kashmir issue will be effectively highlighted at international forums and human rights violations will be presented more clearly before the international community.
Faisal Mumtaz Rathore extended thanks the federal minister for the support of the federal government in the development budget of AJK and public welfare projects.
Engineer Amir Muqam assured that the federal government will continue all possible cooperation to accelerate the process of construction and development in AJK. Joint initiatives in the sectors of energy, infrastructure, health and tourism were also discussed in the meeting.
