Minister inaugurates development package in Sambrial

SIALKOT, Feb 28 (APP):Mian Zeeshan Rafique, Punjab’s Minister for Local Government, visited Sambrial and formally inaugurated a development package worth Rs 6.37 billion, laying the foundation stones of several key projects.
Member of the Provincial Assembly (MPA) Hina Arshad Warraich was also present
on the occasion.
Speaking to the media, the minister said that under the vision of Sohna Punjab, a comprehensive development program has been initiated in Sambrial aimed at providing essential civic facilities and ensuring modern urban development.
He stated that the package includes upgradation of the sewerage system, effective arrangements for rainwater drainage, improvement of the water supply system, reconstruction of streets, solarization of streetlights, and rehabilitation of roads. These measures, he said, will provide citizens with a clean, safe, and improved living environment. He added that upon completion, these projects will not only resolve longstanding civic issues but also boost local business activities.
Mian Zeeshan Rafique emphasized that the Rs 6.37 billion development initiatives will significantly transform the area.
The provincial minister directed the concerned authorities to ensure transparency and maintain high standards in development works, stressing that projects must be completed within the stipulated time frame to provide timely relief to the public.
