RAWALPINDI,July 13(APP);Federal Minister for Railways Khawaja Saad Rafique Wednesday strongly condemned the killing of innocent people in occupied Kashmir by the Indian forces.

Addressing a Pakistan Muslim League(N) workers convention here, he said such oppressive measures would not deter the people of Jammu and Kashmir from their demand of right to self-determination in accordance with the UN Security Council resolutions.

He expreesed the hope that Pakistan Muslim League-N would win the upcoming elections of Azad Kashmir Legislative Assembly.

He said PPP had governments in the centre and in AJK, but indulged in corruption and did nothing for the people of Azad Kashmir.

The minister said PML-N government while in power completed various development projects.

He said the government was making efforts to complete Neelum-Jhelum power project and Orange Line Train project would be completed in time, he added.

The minister said some politicians frequently talk against projects started by the government for the poor, adding they also criticized metro bus projects in Lahore and Rawalpindi.

The Minister said July 21 would be the day of accountability and PML-N wants that elections in AJK should be held in a free, fair and transparent manner.

He said that politics of opposition parties were to derail democracy, adding there was no threat to PML(N) government as the people fully support Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif.
