MFNN delegation lauds KP governor’s role in promoting peace, religious harmony
ISLAMABAD, Sep 14 (APP):A delegation led by founder of the Multi-Faith Neighbors Network (MFNN) and US scholar Pastor Bob Roberts Jr. called on Governor of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Faisal Karim Kundi here on Monday and appreciated his efforts for peace, development and religious harmony in the province.
The delegation included Director of Programs Micah Fries and other members.
Senator Tahir Khalil Sandhu, Prof Dr Qibla Ayaz, Muhammad Israr Madani, Bushra Ali, Madiha Malik and Shahid Rehmat were also present during the meeting.
The US delegation briefed the governor on ongoing efforts to promote religious harmony in Pakistan and across the world and invited him to visit the United States.
Speaking on the occasion, Governor KP Faisal Karim Kundi said the doors of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa were open for peace, religious harmony and interfaith dialogue.
He said Pakistan was ready to play a leading role in promoting global peace, religious harmony and interfaith dialogue.
The governor highlighted vast investment opportunities in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, particularly in minerals, natural resources, energy and other sectors.
He also acknowledged and appreciated Bob Roberts’ services for promoting religious harmony and humanitarian causes.
Prof Dr Qibla Ayaz said Governor Faisal Karim Kundi was playing a key role in promoting development, peace and religious harmony in the province.
Senator Tahir Khalil Sandhu thanked Governor Kundi for the meeting and hospitality and appreciated his efforts to promote religious harmony and development in Pakistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
