LAHORE, Dec 12 (APP): Federal Minister for Religious Affairs Sardar Muhammad Yousaf has said that the message of Holy Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (SAWW) is peace, harmony and love for others which is needed to be spread across the world.

He was addressing at International Mehfil e Husn-e-Qiraat programme jointly organised by Federal Ministry of Religious Affairs & Interfaith Harmony and Auqaf and Religious Affairs Department Punjab at Badshahi Masjid here on Sunday evening.

He said that preaching of the Holy Prophet (SAWW) is for entire humanity.

On this occasion, Turkey’s Religious Affairs President Professor Dr Mehmet Gormez said in his speech that Pakistan and Turkey were not only friends but these countries were twin brothers.

He said Turkish people love Pakistan as culture, religion and customs of the both countries were common.

State Minister for Religious Affairs Syed Pir Ameen ul Hasnat, Provincial Minister Zaeem Qadri, Maldivian State Minister for religious affairs, Turkish ambassador and several other notables attended the mehfil.

Renown Qura from abroad and from the country recited verses of the Holy Quran in the Mehfil.

Hundreds of Muslims from different walks of life attended the mehfil and appreciated the arrangements.

Later, Khateeb Badshahi Masjid Molana Abdul Khabir Azad prayed for the prosperity and security of the country.
