Merit, transparency hallmark of good governance strategy: CM

PESHAWAR, Mar 28 (APP):Chief Minister Mehmood Khan has said that merit and transparency in line with the vision of Prime Minister Imran Khan were the main crux of the KP government’s good governance strategy policy.
Talking to media persons on occasion of launching of good governance strategy, the chief ministers said that PTI government would move forward with the slogan of merit and transparency in government departments as outlined by their leader Imran Khan.
Under the good governance strategy the CM categorically told that nothing will be kept secret from the people as all the government departments had been bound to put all their matters regarding appointments, postings, transfers, government auctions and others online.
All the government institutions would be answerable to the people; he said adding they will work as per aspiration of the masses.
The CM said that short term, mid-term and long-term goals had been set under the new policy which would be enforced in three months, six months and one year, respectively whereas the immediate targets like clean and green Peshawar would be implemented immediately.
The RTI and RTS legislation made during the previous government of PTI would be made part of the new strategy and would be put online.
