Mazari takes notice of violence against woman
ISLAMABAD, Mar 27 (APP):Federal Minister for Human Rights Dr Shireen Mazari on Wednesday took notice of the incident of violence against a woman in Lahore.
The minister, in a tweet, said the station house officer (SHO) of the police station concerned had confirmed her that the first information report (FIR) had been filed against the accused booking them under sections 337-v.
She expressed her sorrow over the inhuman incident of domestic violence. The victim woman was balded and tortured by her husband as she rejected to dance before his friends which was regrettable, she added.
The minister said the woman’s medical report was awaiting while her husband Faisal was arrested.
