ISLAMABAD, May 26 (APP):Minister for Information and Broadcasting and National Heritage Maryam Aurangzeb expressed sorrow over the demise of renowned novel writer and advocate Mazhar Kaleem.
The Minister said with his death the country lost an eminent Urdu writer.
She said Mazhar Kaleem through his celebrated works promoted Urdu literature and his services
in this regard would be remembered forever.
In his condolence message on Saturday, the Minister prayed for salvation of the departed soul. She
also condoled with the bereaved family and prayed for them to bear this irreparable loss with fortitude.
Paying rich tributes to the legendary writer, she said the invaluable contributions of the late writer would always be remembered.“Today we are deprived of one of the living legends of Pakistan,” she said.
