ISLAMABAD, May 13 (APP): Minister for Information and Broadcasting Marriyum Aurangzeb on Friday extended heartfelt condolences on the death of United Arab Emirates President Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
In her condolence message, she said that Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan had played an important role in ensuring a dignified life for the people of his country.
During the reign of Sheikh Khalifa UAE developed rapidly and he had made the first strategic plan for the Emirates.
She said the late UAE president had a strong voice in the Islamic world.
The minister said Pakistani government and masses shared the grief of UAE’s royal family and people.
She prayed to Allah Almighty to rest the departed soul in eternal peace and grant courage to the bereaved family to bear this loss with fortitude.
