ISLAMABAD, May 10 (APP):Defense analyst Brigadier (R) Babar Alauddin has said the Marka-e-Haq emerged as a decisive and extraordinary chapter in Pakistan’s defense history by thwarting enemy aggression and exposing false claims of India.
In an exclusive interview with APP, Babar Alauddin described May 10 as a historic and glorious day in the country’s defense history, symbolizing national unity, military professionalism and strategic excellence in the face of aggression.
He said the remarkable success achieved by Pakistan’s valiant armed forces during the Marka-e-Haq has further strengthened the country’s defense and integrity internationally.
“Today, world leadership is acknowledging Pakistan’s military capabilities and strategic leadership role,” he said, adding that growing international recognition of Pakistan’s mediation efforts in global disputes, including tensions between Iran and America, reflected the country’s increasing diplomatic and military credibility.
Babar Alauddin said the Marka-e-Haq has not only enhanced Pakistan’s geopolitical importance but also transformed regional security dynamics. Highlighting the role of the Pakistan Air Force, he termed its battlefield performance a historic and unprecedented.
He noted that modern combat aircraft such as Rafale were successfully targeted during the conflict, calling it a unique achievement in modern aerial warfare accomplished by Pakistani pilots.
Praising the capabilities of the JF-17 Thunder, he said the fighter jet demonstrated exceptional in battlefield performance and proved itself to be among the most advanced and effective air platforms of the modern era.
The analyst further stated that the aircraft’s successful use in combat reflected Pakistan’s rapid progress toward self-reliance in defense production and highlighted the capability of indigenous technology to counter enemy weapon systems.
He expressed confidence that this success would significantly contribute in boosting Pakistan’s defense exports and further strengthening the country’s air defense capabilities.
