Makkah agreement a milestone for Pakistan, reflects mutual trust: Daniyal Chaudhry

Federal Parliamentary Secretary for Information and Broadcasting Daniyal Chaudhry has described the Makkah Agreement as a milestone for Pakistan, saying the pact reflected not only the strength of Saudi Arabia, Türkiye and Pakistan but also their brotherly ties and mutual trust.

ISLAMABAD, Aug 9 (APP): Federal Parliamentary Secretary for Information and Broadcasting Daniyal Chaudhry has described the Makkah Agreement as a milestone for Pakistan, saying the pact reflected not only the strength of Saudi Arabia, Türkiye and Pakistan but also their brotherly ties and mutual trust.
He said every Pakistani could take pride in the achievement made under the leadership of Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif and Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir.
Daniyal Chaudhry said the agreement would go beyond defence cooperation and open avenues for the three countries to support one another in times of difficulty. He said the agreement would contribute to stability across the region and help improve the balance of power.
The parliamentary secretary said the pact would also pave the way for a joint strategy and effective measures against terrorism, instability and elements contributing to insecurity in the region. He expressed the hope that enhanced cooperation among the three countries would strengthen regional peace, security and stability.
