RAWALPINDI July 18 (APP): Major General Asif Mumtaz Sukhara of Army Medical Corps (AMC) has been promoted to the rank of Lieutenant General and appointed Surgeon General of Pakistan Army, ISPR here on Monday stated.
Presently he is deputy surgeon general at General Headquarters.
He will replace Lt Gen Imran Majeed who has been appointed Vice Chancellor National University of Medical Sciences.
