LG representatives urged to create awareness against polio

PESHAWAR, Oct 26 (APP): The speakers here on Monday urged the
representatives of local government to create awareness among people against polio disease to wipe out it as quickly as possible.
The speakers expressed these views during a function at union
council Kas Koroona Mardan in connection with marking anti polio day. The day was marked with an assistance of Com Net NGO where students, LG representatives and elite of the area attended.
Communication Officers Nabeela Khan, Syed Zam and Yousaf Khan besides
other officials attended. The speakers said polio was a crippling disease and once its virus attack a baby make him disabled for entire life. They said vaccination was the only solution of its complete eradication.
