ISLAMABAD, Oct 06 (APP): Federal Minister for Energy Sardar Awais Ahmad Khan Leghari on Tuesday congratulated the nation and Pakistan Armed Forces on the successful test of an indigenously developed extended-range version of the Fatah-4 Ground-Launched Cruise Missile (GLCM).
In a statement, the minister also congratulated Pakistani scientists and engineers involved in the successful test and paid tribute to their contribution to strengthening the country’s defence capabilities.
He said the successful test was a significant step towards enhancing Pakistan’s defence capabilities and reflected progress in the country’s defence technology.
Awais Leghari said the achievement demonstrated Pakistan’s growing self-reliance in defence technology and marked notable progress towards national self-reliance.
He said the nation was proud of the enhancement of Pakistan’s defence capabilities and congratulated the scientists and engineers on the successful test.
The minister said the successful missile test was a manifestation of progress in the country’s defence technology and would further strengthen national defence capabilities.
He prayed that Allah Almighty would always bless Pakistan with peace, security and stability.
