ISLAMABAD, Feb 22 (APP): Legendary Urdu poet Shabbir Hassan Khan, popularly known as Josh Malihabadi was remembered on his 44th death anniversary, with fans and literary circles paying tribute to his revolutionary poetry and enduring legacy.
Shabbir Hassan Khan, known as Josh Malihabadi, was born in 1898 in Malihabad and became one of Urdu literature’s most powerful voices.
Shayar-e-Inquilab Josh Malihabadi’ s words blazed like fire, celebrating revolution, youth and fearless truth, leaving an everlasting impact on generations, media channels reports.
He wrote number of poems, ghazals and prose, with his collection “Yadon Ki Baarat” earning widespread acclaim for its vivid and heartfelt storytelling.
Josh passed away in 1982, and his contributions were honored posthumously with the Hilal-e-Imtiaz in 2013, keeping his revolutionary spirit alive.
