ISLAMABAD, Jul 15 (APP): The Laws Review Committee Friday reviewed different bills which are to be laid before the parliament for discussion and enactment.
Finance Minister, Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar chaired the meeting which was held at Governor House, Lahore, according to press statement issued by he Finance Ministry here.
The meeting also discussed various proposals aimed at expediting process of legislation in future, it added.
Finance Minister on the occasion also shared with the committee an update on the process regarding appointment of members of Election Commission of Pakistan.
Minister for Law, Zahid Hamid, Minister for Information Technology, Anusha Rehman, Special Assistant to Prime Minister, Barrister Zafarullah Khan, Special Assistant to Prime Minister Khwaja Zaheer Ahmed and Mr.Salman Aslam Butt attended the meeting.
