Law Minister meets KP bar council’s VC

ISLAMABAD, Oct 07 (APP):Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Bar Council’s Vice Chairman Ahmed Farooq Khattak on Tuesday met with Federal Minister for Law and Justice Senator Azam Nazir Tarar.
In the meeting, a decision was made to approve Grant-in-Aid for Kohat, Karak, Hangu, Orakzai, Kurram, Charsadda, Lalchi, Banda Daud Shah and Takht Noi Bar Associations.
A special grant was issued for computerization to connect the Bar Associations of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa with the Bar Council through a digital system.
The Law Minister issued a grant for online registration and computerization for the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Bar Council with the support of NADRA, which was a long-standing demand of the province.
On this occasion, the Law Minister assured Vice Chairman Ahmed Farooq Khattak that the federal government will provide all possible support for solving the problems of the legal community and improving the judicial system.
The lawyers thanked Law Minister Azam Nazir Tarar and said that this initiative will prove to be a milestone in providing modern facilities and promoting transparency for the bar associations of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
