Lalak Jan Shaheed’s courage, patriotism to be remembered forever: President

ISLAMABAD, Jul 7 (APP): President Asif Ali Zardari on Monday paying tribute to Havaldar Lalak Jan Shaheed (Nishan-i-Haider) on his martyrdom anniversary, said that his bravery and patriotism during the Kargil War would always be remembered.

The president, in a message on the martyrdom anniversary of Havaldar Lalak Jan Shaheed, appreciated his unparalleled bravery, courage, and sacrifice.

He said that the nation honoured the courage and great sacrifice of the great hero of the Kargil War, Havaldar Lalak Jan Shaheed as despite being severely injured, he held back enemy attacks and sacrificed his life for the defense of the motherland.

“The nation feels proud and salutes our brave son Lalak Jan Shaheed whose sacrifice is a shining example of courage and determination for future generations. His sacrifice will forever be remembered in golden words in Pakistan’s history,” President Zardari added.
