ISLAMABAD, Jan 17 (APP):Acting Speaker National Assembly Sardar Murtaza Javid Abbasi on
Wednesday suspended the proceeding of the House due to lack of
quorum.
Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) lawmaker Amjid Ali Khan pointed
out the quorum at 10:55 pm when the proceedings was underway to
discuss question hours.
Abbasi asked for the member-count and suspended the proceedings
till completion of the quorum as the required number of lawmakers (25 percent)
were not present in the House. “The House is not in order, so the proceeding
is suspended till completion of the quorum,” Abbasi said.
