Lack of quorum leads to adjournment of Senate session till Thursday

ISLAMABAD, Oct 06 (APP):Lack of quorum in Senate on Monday forced the Acting Chairman Syedaal Khan Nasar to adjourn the session until Thursday at 5:00 pm.

Soon the house began taking up agenda items, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Senator Saifullah Abro pointed out the lack of quorum when the Chair declined to grant him the floor.

The Chair ordered to ring the bills for five minutes before making count. However, the house was not in order, leading to the adjournment of session.
