ISLAMABAD, Oct 09 (APP):The Senate session was adjourned till Friday morning after continuous protest by Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) senators and the subsequent pointing out of lack of quorum on Thursday.
Soon after the recitation of verses from the Holy Quran and Fateha, PTI lawmakers, led by Senator Mohammad Humayun Mohmand, began raising slogans and demanded the resignation of Acting Chairman Senate, Syedaal Khan Nasar.
Later, Senator Mohammad Abdul Qadir pointed out the lack of quorum, prompting the Acting Chairman to make counting. As the quorum was found incomplete, the session was adjourned to meet again on Friday at 11:00 a.m.
