King Salman Relief Center Director meets KP Governor to discuss relief measures for flood victims

PESHAWAR, Oct 20 (APP): Director of the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSRelief), Abdullah Al-Baqami, called on Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Faisal Karim Kundi at the Governor House on Monday.
The meeting was attended by Muhammad Yousaf of KSRelief, Chairman of the Pakistan Red Crescent Society (PRCS) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Farzand Ali Wazir, Chairman of PRCS Merged Areas Imran Wazir.
During the meeting, detailed discussions were held on the recent border situation and the condition of flood-affected areas in Chitral, Dir, Bajaur, Dera Ismail Khan, Bannu, Tank, and Lakki Marwat.
Governor Kundi highlighted that the affected people were facing hardships and that immediate relief measures were essential. He appreciated the efforts of the PRCS, saying that the organization not only distributed relief goods in
Bajaur but also provided cash assistance to the affected families.
He emphasized that additional resources were required for the displaced families from Kurram, where essential items such as food, medicines, shelter, and winter supplies were urgently needed.
The Governor lauded KSRelief’s humanitarian initiatives in Pakistan, describing its support for the affected families in difficult times as commendable. He also appreciated the PRCS Khyber Pakhtunkhwa for extending vital assistance
despite limited resources.
Abdullah Al-Baqami reaffirmed KSRelief’s commitment to extending all possible support for relief and rehabilitation effortsin Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
