KARACHI, July 19 (APP): Awais Ali Shah, son of Chief Justice of Sindh High Court, Justice Sajjad Ali Shah, who was recovered in an intelligence based operation in the small hours of Tuesday from Tank area in D.I. Khan, has returned home safely.

Talking to media men, Chief Justice, Sindh High Court, Justice Sajjad Ali Shah expressed gratitude to Almighty Allah on the safe recovery of his son-Barrister Awais Ali Shah, who was kidnapped from Karachi’s Clifton area on June 20.

He said that he received a phone call from the Army Chief General Raheel Sharif at 3am Tuesday who informed that your son, Awais Ali Shah, has been recovered.

Chief Justice said that General Raheel Sharif was personally monitoring the team that was formed for the recovery of Awais.

He said that the Army Chief informed that Awais has been recovered and we are making arrangements for sending him to Karachi.

Chief Justice said that he requested for telephonic talk with Awais which was also arranged from near Tank.

“Again he was kind enough to arrange an aeroplane for taking Awais from Tank to Karachi”, Justice Sajjad Ali Shah further remarked.

He told a questioner that in the recovery of his son the entire role was of the Pakistan Army. Army is very much the part of the Government of Pakistan, he added.
