ISLAMABAD, Oct 20 (APP):Federal Minister for Science and Technology, Khalid Hussain Magsi Monday emphasized that Pakistan’s development depends on educated, skilled and responsible youth and said “investing in education means investing in the nation’s future.”
He expressed these views while addressing the Master’s Convocation Ceremony of the National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST).
Magsi lauded NUST for consistently producing talented and patriotic graduates contributing to the country’s progress in science, technology, and innovation.
He urged young graduates to utilize their potential for national development, saying that the path to economic stability lies in advancing knowledge, skills, and research.
Highlighting the importance of women’s education, the minister remarked that “educating women is like enlightening the entire society.”
He added that today’s graduates are tomorrow’s leaders, scientists, and reformers, noting that the destiny of nations is shaped within their educational institutions.
The minister also congratulated the NUST administration, faculty, parents, and graduates on successfully organizing the convocation and contributing to Pakistan’s educational excellence.
