ISLAMABAD, Nov 15 (APP): Prominent senior Kashmiri leader and internationally respected Voice of the Kashmir Secretory General of Kashmir Awareness Forum based in Washington, D.C., Dr. G.N Fai is scheduled to visit to Pakistan from 23 November to 1 December.
He will be accompanied by President Kashmir American Council, Prof Dr Imtiyaz Khan of George Washington University, and other distinguished members of the Kashmiri diaspora.
Talking to APP, a close associate of Fai and Director Institute of Dialogue, Devolvement & Diplomatic (IDDD), Dr Sheikh Waleed Rasool said, the visit underscores a crucial phase in global Kashmir advocacy.
During his stay, he will engage with academia, think tanks, bar councils, civil society organizations, and the Kashmiri leadership in Pakistan, focusing on strengthening intellectual collaboration and amplifying international support for the fundamental rights of the people of Jammu and Kashmir.
Recognized worldwide as the authentic international voice of Kashmir, Dr Fai has represented the Kashmiri people at major global forums, including the UNHRC, Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC). His multidimensional leadership—spanning diplomacy, scholarship, and activism—has significantly contributed to global awareness of Kashmir’s struggle.
A PhD from Temple University, USA, and the author of several Research papers and noteworthy books on Kashmir, Dr Fai has dedicated his entire life to advancing the Kashmir cause. His visit aims to further unify diaspora efforts and reinforce the international momentum for justice, dignity, and self-determination for the people of Kashmir.
