MIRPUR, Apr 02 (APP):Kashmir Council European Union (EU) Monday strongly condemned Kashmiri genocide by Indian occupational forces’ in
Shopian and Anantnag districts of Indian occupied Kashmir (IOK).
It is pertinent to mention that Indian forces
killed four civilians in Shopian and Anantnag. The people who came out for
protest on the killings were also targeted which resulted into injuring of more
than 100 people.
The Indian occupation forces used bullet and
pellet guns on the masses participating in the procession.
Talking to APP here, Chairman of the Kashmir Council EU Ali Raza Syed, currently on a visit to AJK
and Pakistan, said Indian forces killed the people in
state terrorism as the extra judicial murders of the innocent Kashmiris especially
youth by the Indian forces was a routine matter in IOK.
He also condemned suspension of internet services after fresh attacks in IOK.
Chairman Kashmir Council EU pointed out that deployment of eight Lac Indian troops in IOK was a proof of occupation as large
scale human rights violations were being committed by these occupation forces.
Indian authorities are engaged to press the peaceful mass resistance by use of
brutal force and atrocities.
Expressing solidarity with the oppressed people of Kashmir, Chairman Kashmir Council EU Ali Raza Syed said, we would continue to support the oppressed people of Kashmir.
He appealed human rights organizations and international community including United Nations to take serious notice of the
state terrorism committed by Indian forces.
Ali Raza Syed specifically demanded UN, EU and other international bodies to send their fact-finding missions to IOK and play
their role to prevent genocide of Kashmiris especially extra-judicial killings of the Kashmiri youth committed by the Indian forces in the occupied territory.
