ISLAMABAD, Oct 28 (APP): The Embassy of Pakistan in Kathmandu organized a Talk Programme to commemorate Kashmir Black Day on 27 October.
The theme of the programme was “Human Rights dimension of Jammu and Kashmir dispute.”
The programme was attended by over 100 senior parliamentarians, journalists, civil society representatives and academicians, a message received here Friday said.
Elaborating upon the atrocities faced by the people of IOK, Ambassador Mazhar Javed urged the need for the world community to play its role in putting an end to the Indian atrocities.
He also urged the implementation of the UN resolutions on the right of self determination to the people of Jammu and Kashmir.
One minute silence was also observed in respect and reverence of those who had fallen victim to the Indian atrocities.
