ISLAMABAD, Jul 19 (APP): Spokesman to the Prime Minister Musadik Malik on Thursday said Rangers operation in Karachi is bringing desired results as law and order situation has improved a lot there.
Talking to a private news channel, he said it was not true that Rangers is conducting operation against any political party as it was against the criminals.
He said Karachi operation would continue till its objectives are achieved.
Responding to a question regarding notification of Rangers powers in Sindh, he said it is expected that the matter would be resolved with consultation.
“We hope Sindh government would allow Rangers to continue operation like it was done in the past, he said and added, it was necessary that Rangers stay for more time to eliminate criminals from Karachi”.
He said all political parties are supporting Karachi operation and they are in favour of Rangers powers extension for peace.
