Karachi operation aimed at establishing law and order: Khurram

ISLAMABAD, July 25 (APP): Minister for Commerce Engineer
Khurram Dastgir Monday said Karachi operation was started with the consultation of all stakeholders which was aimed
at establishing law and order in the mega city.

Talking to a private news channel, he said public resources
were being utilized by the Punjab government with care while there was no proper management of the public money in Sindh.

He said other provinces should also follow the development
oriented agenda of Punjab government and provide better facilities to the masses.

To a query, he said crime ratio is considerably low in
Punjab as compared to Sindh.

Sindh government should also improve its governance
and raise living standard of the people there, he added.

The minister expressed the hope that expected changes in
Sindh cabinet would bring improvements in the way of governance there.

He said Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif had abolished discretionary funds worth Rs. 42 billion after becoming the PM while it had been in use of former Prime Minister during PPP tenure.

He said people of Azad Jammu and Kashmir have rejected those who looted public resources. PML-N believes in politics of development and progress, he added.
