ISLAMABAD, Feb 10 (APP): Marking a significant milestone in Pakistan’s judicial reform efforts, the National Judicial Analytics Dashboard was formally launched on Tuesday, realizing a long-standing institutional vision of the National Judicial (Policy Making) Committee (NJPMC).
The initiative has been developed by the Law and Justice Commission of Pakistan with technical assistance from the National Information Technology Board (NITB), in close collaboration with the IT directorates of the Supreme Court of Pakistan, the Federal Shariat Court, and the high courts across the country. The dashboard is expected to promote evidence-based judicial policymaking, institutional transparency, and performance-driven governance within the justice system.
The launch ceremony was attended by the Chief Justice of Pakistan, Justice Muhammad Ali Mazhar, Chairman of the National Judicial Automation Committee, judges of the Supreme Court and the Federal Constitutional Court, chief justices of the high courts, registrars, representatives of the Pakistan Bar Council, the Secretary of the Ministry of Information Technology and Telecommunication, the Chief Executive Officer of NITB, and senior judicial and technical officials.
Justice Muhammad Ali Mazhar, in his introductory remarks, outlined the development journey of the project and highlighted its key features, noting that the platform consolidates judicial data into an integrated, real-time analytics framework. He said the system would facilitate informed decision-making, strategic planning, and stronger institutional accountability.
The Secretary, Ministry of IT and Telecommunication, emphasized the importance of inter-institutional collaboration and reaffirmed the government’s commitment to leveraging technology to strengthen governance and public sector institutions, including the justice sector.
The dashboard was formally unveiled by the Chief Justice of Pakistan, followed by a live demonstration showcasing its analytical capabilities, real-time monitoring functions, and visual data architecture.
Addressing the ceremony, the Chief Justice described the dashboard as a key governance tool that would enhance transparency, predictability, and performance monitoring across the judicial system.
He appreciated the efforts of the Law and Justice Commission of Pakistan, NITB, and judicial IT teams for transforming a long-standing reform vision into an operational reality.
Souvenirs were later presented to members of the National Judicial Automation Committee and the core development teams in recognition of their contributions.
The launch of the National Judicial Analytics Dashboard is being viewed as a major step towards data-driven justice-sector governance, reinforcing the judiciary’s commitment to modernization, informed policymaking, and improved, citizen-centric justice delivery.
