Jinnah Express to start its journey from March 31

LAHORE, Mar 25 (APP):The Pakistan Railways is introducing a non-stop VIP train 31-Up/32-Down Jinnah Express between Lahore Cantt and Karachi Cantt at the Main Line from March 31.
The train will stop at Haiderabad, Rohri and Khanewal railway stations from up and down sides.
31-Up Jinnah Express will leave Karachi Cantt at 3:00 pm and arrive at Haiderabad at 5:05 pm, Rohri at 8:35 pm, Khanewal at 2:55 am and Lahore Cantt at 7:00 am and it will reach Lahore City railway station at 7:30 am.
While on return, the 32-Down will leave Lahore at 2:30 pm and reach Lahore Cantt at 2:45 pm where it will stop for 15 minutes and start its journey for Karachi Cantt at 3:00 pm. The train will reach Khanewal at 6:35 pm, Rohri at 12:50 am, Haiderabad at 4:43 early in the morning and the train will reach Karachi at 7:00 am.
The train will consist of 12 Air-conditioned Business coaches, two power plants and a dinning car.
The fare for the train from Lahore to Karachi has been scheduled Rs 7000 for an adult and Rs 5250 for a child whereas food and other services will be included in the fare. The same Rs 7000 fare will be charged from a passenger embarked from
any station.
No concession of 5 percent will be provided on 48 hours advance booking which is being provided in other trains.
If any officer or staffer wants to go with train for inspection, he will have to get permission in advance from AGM traffic.
An amount of Rs 1350 will be charged additionally in case of ticket is made in the train.
