ISLAMABAD, Oct 1 (APP):Jazz CEO Aamir Ibrahim on Wednesday congratulated Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited (PTCL) on receiving approval from the Competition Commission of Pakistan (CCP) for the acquisition of Telenor Pakistan, terming the move an important step towards strengthening the country’s telecom sector.
He said industry consolidation would help create a more sustainable environment by channeling resources into expanding services instead of duplicating networks.
“The real priority now should be timely spectrum release, which is essential to unlock Pakistan’s digital growth and ensure that millions of people benefit from faster, more affordable connectivity,” Aamir Ibrahim said in a statement.
