Jaffar urges politicians to pay respect for workers of political parties

ISLAMABAD, Mar 13 (APP):Minister of State for Maritime Affairs Chaudhry Jaffar Iqbal Tuesday urged the politicians to pay respect for workers
of all political parties for promoting culture of tolerance in the society.
Talking to a private news channel, he said that it was the responsibility of all political leadership to have respect for the workers of opposite party so that ethical values could be promoted in a befitting manner.
Expressing concerns of rising incidents of shoe hurling at public gatherings, he said that all the political parties
should sit together at proper forum for resolving the issues.
To a question, he said that political parties should have to develop consensus on Charter of Democracy (CoD), so that incident of toppling the Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N), set up in Balochistan could be avoided in future.
To another question, he said it was strange that Pakistan Peoples Party and Pakistan Tehrik e Insaf, had elected the person for Senate Chairmanship who did not have any manifesto, vote bank, or political party.
He, however said that we had welcomed the chairman Senate.
