A.J Siddiqui fully capable to handle int’l, business affairs: Musadik

ISLAMABAD, Mar 9 (APP):Advisor to the Prime Minister Dr Musadik Malik on Friday said the newly appointed envoy of Pakistan to the United States Ali Jehangir Siddiqui had a multi-dimensional personality, who like business matters could handle international affairs in an appropriate manner.
Siddiqui would help resolve issues with the US, like that of the Financial Action Task Force, besides improving business and bilateral relations between the two countries, he said while talking to a private news channel.
Dr Musadik said Siddiqui had got education from prestigious institutions, and, therefore, he would be able to deal with the American administration, businessmen, bankers, and other segments of the society properly. Keeping in view the current international situation and the country’s requirement, he was the most suitable person to handle the affairs with the US, he added.
To a question regarding Aizaz Chaudhry, he said he had performed his official assignments as Pakistan’s Ambassador
to US very effectively.
To another question about the political appointment, he said in the past, retired generals, politicians and others were appointed as ambassadors.
